Part 1. Why create a blog?
Create a blog: why create a blog? This issue was raised in the blogosphere more than once. Moreover, I am sure he is from time to time will go up some new sponsors. I am in this case is no exception. Though perhaps my arguments will be more extensive than the standard posts on this topic, since I'm going to do once the group of articles on the subject. Collect, so to speak together all that relates to the process of creating a blog - before and after, from start to finish. This material may be useful to those who have not yet decided to create my own blog, but just thinking about it. Perhaps you can find some valuable information for themselves.
Recently read a blog of a man who "goes to work in the Internet", a note on the 11ti reasons to start a blog. He divides them into two categories - tangible and not. Consider this post, and I was like the text will express their opinion (in italics) on certain items. So, for the first (non-material) are the reasons:
1. The idea - explaining the idea, posting it, understand and accept it in some new forms, which in turn generates new thoughts and ideas. This perpetual motion itself for ideas.
2. Friends - The Blog is used to explore new and helpful people, sometimes when it turns out to potential customers. For customers it's certainly the case if a professional blog.
3. Writers' tendencies - when I want to express their thoughts, ideas, share them with people. If you have something to say, then why not.
4. Samopiar - making their names on the Internet, gather like-minded people. It is only logical!
5. Content - such as verification of the theory, that if you write interesting posts, all the rest (readers, popularity, name and money) will follow. In our real-world mercenary is certainly more like the idyll, but you never know.
More material reasons. It even does not seem to reason and direction for the incomes for the blog. Generally when you create a blog, many may even not to think about this and come to this eventually. I've personally at this stage plan to simply create a quality blog with interesting and useful information, to organize more or less stable club readers and friends, and will continue to be seen.
Thus, the basic ways of earning on the blog (cite only a list without comment):
1. AdSense - contextual ads, money goes for clicks from visitors, the method is very simple, but poorly effective for RU and UA blogs.
2. Advertising - selling seats for text and banner advertising.
3. Referrals - advertise different affiliate programs, signing himself refealov in parallel, from the activities of which you are interest. The complexity of ways that one must first achieve the most success in a particular program, and then promote it.
4. Services - can offer their goods and services, such as "will set the mood and the WordPress site for a small fee" or a "For Sale samopisny script for a simple shop."
5. Custom office - all in principle understandable, it is possible to do both independently and through the system (sites), offering to write reviews of the order.
6. Sale of options - can recoup hosting, for example, more promoted resource, the more expensive price for reference. Again, there are special services for this.
I had found another note on the question of "why are all still start a blog. The author, describing the reasons, along classifies blogs. My comments are in italics.
1. Blogs related to the profession. Such blogs are usually created by programmers and other IT-specialists, where you can meet and share helpful tips from the conference and throughout the network, to share their own best practices, as well as interesting details from his experience. My blog, in principle, fit this description most accurately. As for me the most interesting blogs.
2. Blogs of privacy. These blogs, perhaps the majority. I generally tend to share the "diaries" and "blogs", although in fact the concept is very similar. In my understanding, "Diary" - this is the personal notes, that is more oriented for themselves - an analogue of a paper diary, too, some of their own for some reason are. In general, useful information in these blogs are very few, can be used as communication with friends and associates.
3. Blogs problematic. Here the authors present their clever ideas on various occasions. IMHO, a very dubious point in the classification, several parallels to personal diaries.
4. Blogs-compilations. It publishes links to all sorts of things from all over, often without copyrights. The author suggests that it is something like "create your own corner of the network, but as for me, the usual splog (spam blog). Although the book collection of discord, if it is a quality blog - it's just a godsend!
5. Blogs travelers and explorers. In many such blogs resonate with paragraph 2, as they are based on personal experiences of those who lead them. Usually such blogs exist during their stay in the author described the country, and then quietly closed. Also a very specific kind of blog, according to me. Want to add except that there are photo-blogging, which publishes the only (or mostly) pictures some. Here is a format well suited to the variety of blogs.
6. Blogs related to training. This is a blog for people who practice their skills in a particular teaching - foreign languages, trainings, etc. Here you can upload some tutorials, custom development, links to interesting resources.
Of course, this classification is rather conventional, but for informational purposes quite amiss. For more information on the types of blogs you can search on Wikipedia. Causes of the creation for each individual person has his own - for whom an outlet or a testing ground for some own experiments, some attract customers, shares his thoughts and earns his apartment.
By the way, often on the sites pages have a page of type "about the author" or "on the blog, where people sometimes indicate the reasons that prompted them to create your own blog.
